“People outside of the Tapestry Studio would also visit Mr. Varbanov. So by being here, he not only established a tapestry studio, he was also a window through which we could interact with the world outside of the Academy. Or one could say he was a messenger, influencing many people as he discussed with them the creative concepts of contemporary art.”
