Biography:

Guo Zhen is an artist living and working in New York.

Guo graduated from the Shandong Art School in 1976 and from the Zhejiang Academy of Fine Arts (now the China Academy of Art) in 1982, where she taught in the Chinese Art Department until 1986. In the 1980s, her work picked up awards in a number of major national art exhibitions. Guo moved to the United States in the late 1980s and continued her art education at the San Francisco Art College, The New School and the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York.

Her work has been exhibited in the United States, Canada and China, including shows with Ethan Cohen Fine Arts (New York), the Rizhao City Museum (China), the B Street Gallery (San Diego) and the Pacific Asia Museum (Pasadena), to name a few.
